Join Suvi Savola (Other Flora) to explore the gentle art of making paper flowers. In this hands-on workshop, you will create a lifelike daffodil using high-quality German and Italian crepe papers, wire, and glue.

Over the course of this three-hour session, Suvi will guide you step by step through the process — from cutting and shaping petals to forming the centre and assembling the flower onto a flexible wire stem. You’ll learn the essential techniques for working with crepe paper and gain a deeper appreciation for the detail and texture that bring these paper flowers to life.

Different shades of crepe paper will be available so you can choose the tones you prefer. Suvi will demonstrate each stage of the process, share practical tips, and offer personal guidance throughout. Pre-made examples at various stages will be available to study, and there will be plenty of time for questions and conversation.

The workshop takes place in a small group, allowing for individual attention and a calm, creative atmosphere. All materials and tools are provided, and light refreshments will be available.

You will leave with your own handmade daffodil, along with the pattern and skills to continue making more at home. No prior experience is needed — just some comfort with simple crafting and an interest in making things by hand.
